Walking into Marion for the first time, we immediately fell in love! This home was full of so much character and century-old quirkiness. It made for an exciting project, finding a way to rework the floor plan both on the main level and upstairs into one that was more practical, while also keeping the character and feel of the home. We reworked the primary bedroom to add in a walk-in closet while making room for a larger main floor bathroom. On the main level, we opened up the floor plan to create a better flow from room to room while also bringing in more natural light to the entire home. With those changes made, cosmetics really brought it all together, with clean white paint, updated lighting, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, etc., that still respected the home’s time period.
