We ask all of our buyers the following questions in the beginning, which helps prioritize your needs.
- Are you a cash buyer or are you going to get a mortgage? If getting a mortgage, are you pre-approved?
- Do you have to sell another home before buying?
- What is your time frame for buying a home?
- What price range do you want to work within?
- What you are looking for in a home?
- Are you familiar with the area in which you are looking or would you need maps/guidance?
- Lastly but probably most importantly, what are your top three non-negotiables?
These are factors that would make a home a “deal-breaker” if it were not included in your home search.
